SINGA means “connection” and that is at the core of what we do.
For six years we have been creating spaces where refugees, newcomers and locals can connect as equals -- no matter where they come from or their background -- to exchange ideas, share the things they love, and to try something new.
Whether it’s sports or music, arts, languages, games, food, exploring cities and the countryside or something else that you love, there are endless possibilities and ideas that with SINGA, people just like you are coming together to innovate through collaboration and fresh ways to connect.
From its beginnings in Paris six years ago, SINGA has become a thriving, international movement now in 14 cities in seven countries, including France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and Quebec, as well as the UK, with more preparing to join in the coming year.
We began with our first Chapter opening in Hackney & Tower Hamlets, East London, and are building our team so that our work can extend to other parts of the city and regional UK.
There are many ways to get involved no matter your level of experience, or how much time you have.
