    SINGA 'bag for life' workshop - 16 August 2018

      A series of handcraft workshops for newcomers and community members looking to share a moment together by creating unique bags and developing new skills.   Join us for our SINGA tote bag making workshop in Hackney. This will be the opportunity to express what inspires you and what you love, and share your story by designing your own 'bag for life'. During these two-hour sessions, you will customise a piece of fabric that will then be stitched onto your bag as a pocket or as a patch using sewing techniques such as embroidery, beading and applique. Led by Clara, she will share her experience and skills and to decorate your own bag in a fun and creative environment that welcomes story sharing throughout each session.  These sessions are offered free in collaboration with the , but places are limited and you must register in advance.
