SINGA's regular gatherings in London are powered by community, innovation and a new way to meet others and make things happen through the things you love.
SINGA Commons is open to everyone no matter what their background or where they are in life. The night is a mixture of fun and creative sessions -- firstly to connect you with others who share your passions and interests, and next to collaborate with them on new ideas for meetups, activities and other creative ways to connect with new people in the community.
Whether it’s sports or music, arts, languages, games, food, exploring cities and the countryside or something else that you love, there are endless possibilities and ideas for innovation and new ways to connect. It all starts here!
Food for the heart,
food for the soul
Not only can you expect to be nourished and inspired with new ideas and connections, you will also be fed delicious vegan Ethiopian food!
Migrateful is a cookery and language initiative where asylum seekers, refugees and migrants teach their traditional cuisines to the public. There are still places available (at the discounted price of £25) to join the cookery class if you'd like to learn more and be a part of creating fresh, delicious food for yourself and the community.
Tickets to the cooking class include an invitation to participate in the 'project creation' session of the SINGA Commons evening. You can register to attend the class here.
For those who wish to attend SINGA Commons but not be part of the cookery class, doors will open from 6.45pm and we will begin at 7:15pm.
We suggest a minimum donation on the basis of what you feel you can offer to support our work:
£15 employed, £10 students and concessions; free-of-charge or whatever you can afford for unemployed
All proceeds will go towards covering the food and running costs, and to help get SINGA Commons projects off the ground. Your generosity is appreciated.
Please be sure to RSVP in advance as places are limited.
Look forward to seeing you there!
